CRISIS HOTLINES/WARM LINES/ORGANIZATIONS
The Bridge now offers: an LGBT "Warm" Line
The Bridge: Warm Line now open starting Monday, March 17th. Unlike typical "Hotlines" where an individual is in crisis, we now offer an alternative, a "Warm" line for those LGBT individuals, friends and allies who are not yet in crisis but have a real need to just talk to someone who will be non-judgemental, understanding, empathetic and caring. We do not offer advice, but will listen with an open mind and heart. Referrals will be provided as needed. If no answer, call back or leave a message. We will return all calls. All calls are strictly confidential. If you have a true emergency, please contact your local mental health clinic or call 911.
HOURS: 12 noon to 5pm
DATES: Monday thru Friday
NUMBER: (518) 338-3884 ~this is not toll free, but is a local call within the 518 area code~
At long last, a service badly needed for the people of our community. You asked and we listened.
